Reflexology is a holistic complementary therapy involving the treatment of
various disorders by applying pressure to the feet or hands. Precise areas
of the feet or hands relate directly to particular parts of the body and
the whole body can be treated via their "reflex points". It is gentle,
non-invasive & relaxing.
Treatment involves applying pressure to the precise reflex points with the
thumb or fingers & different sensations can be felt. These can be
interpreted by the therapist to indicate where imbalances are. The
therapist accesses the body’s energy through zones in order to clear any
congestion which may be causing the imbalance. Reflexology can help
overcome the effects of a stressful lifestyle, demands on the body like
pollution, additives & pesticides in our foods.
Headaches, migraines, tension, backache, digestive disorders, a weakened
immune system, high blood pressure, skin conditions, frequent colds &
infections & M.E can all be treated with Reflexology.
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "Universal life force energy". Reiki
therapy is a simple, gentle yet powerful form of natural healing that
balances, harmonises & restores your own energy system. It is based on the
concept of an unseen life force energy flowing through us. If this energy
is low, then you are more likely to become stressed. Reiki is deeply
relaxing, eases stress & has a calming effect. Reiki can accelerate the
healing of physical problems, balance the emotions & may provide a closer
connection with inner-wisdom & build on a more resourceful state of being
Indian Head massage is based on the Indian Ayurvedic healing system &
involves a seated, massage of the upper back, the shoulders, the neck, the
head & the face. It is incredibly relaxing yet stimulating. A range of
massage movements are used to bring oxygen to tired or tense muscles & the
scalp to help them relax & to liberate toxins. An Indian head massage
leaves you feeling warm, calm & relaxed. It is also a great "pick me up"
for those suffering from a feeling of lack of energy & stimulates the
concentration & memory. Headaches, migraines, sinus congestion, depression
& anxiety can all be treated with Indian head massage.
A detailed medical history is taken before all complementary therapy
treatments. Treatments typically last one hour and the cost is not
refunded by the French medical social security system.
I also offer

One day workshops in early pregnancy care, exercise, diet & understanding
of the changing body & baby development.

5 session course in birth preparation, exercise, natural pain relief,
birth choices, role of partner, fear, the pelvis, the birth environment &
life with a newborn.

Individual support in: Menstrual health, Fertility awareness, Conscious
conception, Positive pregnancy, Birth preparation, Postpartum support.

Doula- birth partner support.

5 session course in baby massage, to support the family, to reinforce the
bond between parent & child, to stimulate baby development & body
consciousness & to teach the family another form of communication which is
healthy, nourishing & safe.
